Bachelor of Arts in Psychology – Marriage and Family Studies Online
The Marriage and Family Studies degree program sets high and clear expectations, promotes active learning, and provides students with timely feedback on their progress. In addition to receiving a strong foundation in the scientific and applied traditions of marriage psychology and family psychology, students will learn about family dynamics, systems theory, and counseling strategies used by marriage psychology and family psychology researchers and therapists. Overall, the Marriage and Family Studies degree prepares students to integrate their faith with the practice of counseling and provides a launching pad for further graduate study in marriage and family therapy. This degree will equip men and women to serve their fellow man.
About the Marriage and Family Studies Degree
Coursework in Marriage and Family Studies psychology provides much of the liberal arts foundation students will receive at HCU. It is a foundation that will prepare them for many different career fields by teaching interpersonal, analytical, and critical-thinking skills required in any professional environment. But more importantly, the marriage psychology and family psychology courses will lead students to a higher wisdom in understanding life, people and the world around them.
