Students can expect a balanced curriculum that includes a required introductory course, methodology courses, advanced content courses, and an integrating capstone experience. The undergraduate psychology program produces graduates who think scientifically, speak and write well, and respect and appreciate others.
Overview of the Psychology Degree Program
Coursework in Psychology provides much of the liberal arts foundation students will receive at HCU. It is a foundation that will prepare them for many different career fields by teaching interpersonal, analytical, and critical-thinking skills required in any professional environment. But more importantly, these courses will lead students to a higher wisdom in understanding life, people, and the world around them.
Students can choose between a general, Christian Counseling or Marriage and Family track.

Submit transcripts showing you achieved a high school general or advanced diploma or a GED. (Waived if you have 32 credit hours or more of transfer credit.)
Submit all transcripts from previous colleges, including additional postbaccalaureate or graduate-level coursework. Must be sent directly from the school.
For unofficial transcripts emailed to OnlineVerification@HC.edu, initial acceptance may be given; however, official transcripts must be received by your second semester.
