Hello future Huskies!

My name is Melissa Medrano, and it鈥檚 truly a blessing to walk with you on your transfer journey to 麻豆视频. I know this season can feel like a big leap, but you鈥檙e not alone鈥擨鈥檓 here to help every step of the way.

I was born in Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosi, Mexico听and raised in Baytown, Texas, where I learned the value of hard work, faith, and family. I started my college journey at Lee College, so I understand what it鈥檚 like to be a transfer student and all the questions that come with it. God has an incredible way of writing our stories, and I never would鈥檝e imagined mine would lead me here鈥攕erving students like you. Now, I proudly serve as a Transfer Counselor at HCU, helping students find their purpose and calling.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, playing a little pickleball,听and sitting down at the piano.听My faith in Jesus Christ is my foundation. I have the honor of serving at my local church, where I get to pour into others just like so many have poured into me.
