How do I get started with Anthology Portfolio?
1. Purchase a license from the HCU bookstore (it takes 24-48 business hours to activate your account)
2. Sign into Blackboard
3. Go to your course that requires Anthology Portfolio
4. Click the assignment link for Anthology Portfolio
5. If it asks you to log in, your account is not activated yet
When do I need to purchase Anthology Portfolio?

At the beginning of the semester when your syllabus includes the Anthology Portfolio license as required course material. The license is good for 365 days so if you need it two semesters in a row, you only need to purchase one license.
How do I purchase or renew my Anthology Portfolio account?

Through the University Store. You can purchase in person, over the phone, or online. Your Anthology Portfolio account is active for 365 days and then it needs to be renewed. The renewal license can be purchased through the HCU bookstore as well.

Under the “Textbooks” drop-down menu, select “Buy/Rent Textbooks”

In the “Search” box, type “Chalk and Wire”

Choose either “Chalk and Wire Subscription for Education” or “Chalk and Wire Subscription for Beh. Sciences“. The purchase price is $40.
How do I log into Anthology Portfolio?

Access your Anthology Portfolio account directly through your Blackboard course. You should not go directly through the Anthology Portfolio website.

What type of documents get uploaded to Anthology Portfolio?

The key assessments will go into the portfolio. Fieldwork logs, observation evaluations, and anything related to the internship/practicum/clinical teaching will go in the fieldwork section.
What is the difference between the portfolio and fieldwork?

The portfolio is a sample of assessments throughout the program at HCU.

The fieldwork is a log of hours and activities completed during internship/practicum/clinical teaching.
How do I view my cooperating teacher/mentor/site supervisor's evaluation?
Where can students find resources and further instructions on how to navigate Anthology Portfolio?

There are help documents and videos for students. If they need further assistance after they have reviewed those resources, they can reach out to their professor.
